Recently on one of the pilgrim forums someone asked where they could get slideshows or pictures of the Camino routes to show their boss so he would be persuaded to give them time off to walk! I realised I needed to bring mine together in one category. Here is a selection:
I am hoping for a moment alone to savor each of these - thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteJohn!! I just watched all of these videos starting with the one on the bottom and worked my way up. Apparently I left the best for last as I was pleasantly surprised to see your letter to the pilgrim begin with, "Dear Lillian". I must tell you I restarted it twice more just to hear you say, "Dear Lillian", as a smile came over me. I remember so well how you wrote to me with a tone excitement describing the Via de la Plata. It truly was exactly as you described it and still today I get sudden flashbacks of some of the moments I experienced along that route. Each camino has its magic and none are alike. La Via remains my favorite and I think it is because I was able to connect with the people who were so lovely and friendly. All those villages, towns and cities were fantastic. Thank You, John, for this video and I will now keep it under my "favorites". And of course, it was very special to have met you in Santiago and shared food, wine and good conversation. Happily, Lillian

ReplyDeleteDear JW. Thanks for posting these videos. Nice "company" for good memories; I've just walked the Camino once (in 2010: Ávila-León-Ovideo-SdC) and know I will be back :)
ReplyDeleteBut my question here is: I have seen your video "John Hand walks to Santiago" (on your YouTube channel) . Can you please tell me who's playing/ singing on that video?
Kind regards,
Oyvind
